it is learnt that the Pakistan national electricity Administration (PEPCO) on May 15, 2008, international competitive bidding on the project. After more than a year of commercial and technical negotiations on July 1 this year, PEPCO Goudou 747MW combined cycle power plant project awarded to the utility company. The project is the largest combined cycle power plant project in Pakistan, configure two set GE Frame-9FA gas turbines, two heat recovery steam generator and a steam turbine-generator set, total contract duration of 36 months.
